CASE STUDY
Ensuring Communication for a Logistic Company
Logistics industry
What was the biggest secure broadband challenge that the founders of SysAdvisors faced?
The primary challenge for SysA founders in the realm of secure broadband networks was to achieve the assumed capacity and functionality of connections between numerous units of the company within Poland (PL territory). Strict adherence to high cybersecurity and data security norms was a pivotal element of the implementation. Our engineers excelled in constructing additional systems that aligned with the client’s business needs, including processing vast amounts of data and monitoring IoT devices within a dispersed network.
Key Actions?
The initial phase of the project necessitated close collaboration with telecommunication operators. This involved the development of a comprehensive conception, verification of technical capabilities, cost assessment, and estimation of realization time, all while aligning with the client’s specific needs.
A crucial secondary aspect entailed the recognition and selection of systems and equipment solutions. This intricate process was facilitated through collaboration with our aforementioned partners and producers. Successfully navigating this level of complexity demanded effective management at every stage, from concept elaboration to the selection and approval of the entire solution. Ultimately, the realization and startup of the entire system unfolded.
Regarding the project, it was designed and constructed for the client by:
- nationwide WAN between departments, using MPLS technology,
- The system of backup connections (in Poland) based on the “MPLS over LTE” network. The task was carried out in cooperation with one of the largest GSM operators in Poland,
- An implementation of a private APN for communication with IoT devices in Europe,
- Blackholing systems,
- AntiDDoS systems based on Fortinet solutions,
- systems supporting the sending of transactional emails (volume of ~3-5 million emails per day), based on Fortinet solutions,
- VPN concentrators for 10k users based on Fortinet solutions,
- VMware-based virtualization,
- backup systems based on CommVault,
- systems for monitoring environmental parameters of the Data Center, systems, applications and business processes,
- access control systems in server rooms.
Effects
The successful implementation of the project resulted in the elimination of Service Quality problems, leading to increased efficiency and effectiveness of the network and systems. This project played a critical role for the company in its pursuit of further dynamic business development. Simultaneously, the cybersecurity and data security measures were raised to the highest global standards and best practice.
