CASE STUDY
New Solutions Proposition Regarding Server Architecture
Analysis of Current Problems with Server Architecture
Our client, hailing from the logistics industry, possesses a high bay warehouse spanning over 15,000m2 and several network cabinets with active devices, powering wireless network points distributed throughout the space. The central server room includes redundant connections, backbone switches connecting the entire infrastructure, and routers.
However, this budget-conscious solution for active equipment led to frequent stability issues, impacting the reliability of magazine scanners and causing connection disruptions.
The Course of the Project
Following a thorough analysis of the current environment and documentation, the next step involved proposing several new architecture options and selecting the optimal one. Our priority was to recommend an equipment solution that would effectively address the drawbacks of the current setup.
Effect
Initially hesitant to invest in more expensive enterprise-grade equipment, the client opted for our proposed comprehensive network improvement service, which included the delivery and exchange of current devices. The Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model incorporated Huawei network devices (L2, L3) from the Enterprise line, coupled with monitoring and subsequent maintenance. This solution effectively resolved the problem without incurring high additional costs. Since the exchange and implementation of monitoring, network connection instability ceased to occur.
