Client’s Challenge
Our client, a key player in the technological entertainment industry, specializes in the creation of products, applications, and digital services. The challenge we faced in maintaining service continuity was twofold: ensuring a wide range of specialized IT engineering competences while adhering to a pre-determined budget. This involved guaranteeing flexibility and access to essential engineering resources to mitigate risks such as employee absence, internal skill shortages, and the need for high-level competencies. Additionally, there was a critical requirement to enhance the security of the client’s entire infrastructure.
Project Overview
The project entailed collaboration between the client and our team of system and network engineers. We developed a set of principles for cooperation, outlining action priorities and establishing Service Level Agreement (SLA) levels.
Upon signing the contract and obtaining necessary authorizations, we conducted a thorough assessment of office resources, cloud systems (AWS), and physical infrastructure in the Data Center. Our activities included implementing monitoring, conducting system inventories, assessing technological debt, and establishing priorities for crucial and time-sensitive actions. We continue to provide ongoing maintenance for the client’s IT systems, along with managing new implementation projects and modernizing existing systems.
Achievements
As a result of entrusting the functioning of their technical department to an external outsourcing partner, the client benefited significantly. They placed their trust in us to maintain an extensive IT infrastructure, receiving comprehensive service and support from our dedicated Senior DevOps Team and Network Engineers. Notably, the client gained access to extensive IT competencies, reducing the risk of experiencing a shortage of expertise or knowledge, particularly in the realm of AWS infrastructure and cloud technologies. Furthermore, this solution eliminated the risk of internal human resource shortages or losses. Importantly, the client achieved enhanced flexibility in planning IT activities and long-term IT budgeting.
